Structured Cabling Engineer Contract – Edinburgh
DCS Recruitment are currently looking for an experience structured cabling engineer for the a data network installation within a retail unit in Edinburgh, on behalf of a National client.
Contract date: Wednesday 2nd July 2025
Working up to 8 hour night shift.
The scope of works will involve the addition and adjustment of CCTV network cabling and cameras.
The ideal candidates will:
- Own hand/termination tools including drill(s)
- Hold a valid ECS/CSCS – preferably endorsed by a telecoms industry qualification e.g. datacoms, field engineer, cabling installer, or network infrastructure
- Hold a valid IPAF (3a/3b) licence
You will also require UKATA asbestos awareness certification – this can be done online prior to start if you don’t already have this.
