DCS are currently partnering with a leading organisation with a global footprint (1000+ staff) to identify a talented Lead Cloud & Security Architect. This is a high-impact position, reporting directly to the CISO and offering the flexibility of remote working, with occasional trips to their Yorkshire office.
My client is seeking a senior professional who combines hands-on expertise and a strategic mindset, someone comfortable both delivering solutions and influencing across a complex, multicultural environment.
Key attributes for the ideal candidate:
- Broad experience designing and architecting security controls and solutions across multiple domains (network, cloud, IAM, data, applications, and more). Versatility is valued over deep niche knowledge.
- Strong background in secure systems/software engineering, with a track record of embedding security-by-design and transforming dev/engineering teams into security champions.
- Demonstrable experience evaluating and implementing a diverse range of security technologies and products, leading product assessments, RFPs, or PoCs.
- Salary is flexible, with a benchmark set at £80,000 base plus bonus, car allowance and wider benefits. There is some scope to be led on market with this figure though.
Bonus points for experience in IoT or the health and care sector, though this is not a strict requirement.
