Quantity Surveyor

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to fire protection. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be given full guidance and support to complete all aspects of commercial management andcontract procurment.

Responsibilities
– Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
– Evaluate and negotiate variations in contracts
– Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
– Conduct risk assessments
– Provide advice on contractual claims
– Monitor progress and ensure projects meet quality standards

Experience
– Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
– Strong knowledge of fire protection
– Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
– Proficiency in cost control

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

  • surveying: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham
