Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday | 2 week rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

🔧 Your role
* Carry out maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, including injection moulding machines
* Perform electrical fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery (B&R X20 system used, but not essential)
* Respond to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
* Conduct planned maintenance and participate in ongoing improvement projects
* Support the introduction of new equipment as part of the company’s modernisation strategy
* Work closely with a small, experienced engineering team on a static site
* Operate on a 2-week rotating early/late shift pattern (no nights)
🎯 What you’ll need
* Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a static, site-based maintenance role
* Strong fault-finding skills on electrical systems, ideally including PLCs
* Background in a manufacturing environment (injection moulding experience desirable)
* Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
* Willingness to work rotating shift pattern
